Thinking of building an egomag. Tips/advice?

Title. Like what frame looks the best/works the best? Can I use a minimag?

KCMECustoms= Bob Long has never had amazing packaging but if you put a turd in a tuxedo its still a turd.

You can use the stock ego 5-6 frame, stock etek 1-2 frame, or the etek1-2 starframe or the ego5-6 starframe.

I'd look into using an etek2 starframe because they tend to look better, but thats obviously personal preference. The etek2 starframe will be the most expensive to find and the stock ego 5-6 frame or the stock etek frames will be much cheaper and easier to find.

Yes, you could make that work with a minimag, however It may be slightly harder to do. I've only seen it done on ule bodied mags or mags with emag length rails.
