Low-Pressure Stinger Frame

The G5's Unibody Frame, Milled from high-grade Aluminum, houses the Inline reinforced Stinger Frame Low-Pressure system. high speed precision milling is used through the Stinger Frame to contain the Low-Pressure Inline system. The Stinger Frame includes a heavy-duty bracing structure for increased durability and is complimented with a high-performing lightweight design. Cutting edge technology, stamped with ingenuity.

Riptide Regulator

The Engineer's of DP invigorates the Riptide Regulator. A superior design, the Riptide Regulator's operation simulates the art of nature by directing the flow of pressure & combining as one controlled force. The High Pressure Regulator receives direct pressure from the Stinger Frame low-pressure system, allowing a fluid path with an extremely durable design. The components of the Riptide Regulator are very light, compact, & comprised of only a 7 stationary O-ring build.

Subsonic Bolt Engine

The G5's Subsonic Bolt Engine high performance is combined with a high efficiency. A lower pressure operation achieves accurate & high-powered performance - Achieved by DP's Standard. The Ported vents on the G5 Bolt generates fluid motion during bolt-actuation, while creating a subsonic flow from the pressure chamber and through the vented ports to cushion paint while delivering a powerful trajectory. Innovative DP Style Clamping Feedneck

Wave Trigger

The G5's Innovative Wave Trigger is fully milled & constructed with high-precise dual bearings & critical pivoting motion to replicate fluid-motion with extreme comfort. The breakaway magnet is assisted with a compression spring, fit for high performance. The Wave Trigger allows fine tuning for increased trigger sensitivity on a 3-Axis adjustment plane. Im curious about the low pressure frame, are they requiring an LP tank or is it just marketing.

Although I will not be surprised to see Low pressure tanks to become standard in the next few years as more and more companies ditch macro and no longer be sold at a premium.

Literally the only thing I care about is what they changed in the bolt engine; the whole gun hinges on that, IMO. If they can take the bolt engine and quiet it down, or make it more efficient then they've truly got a killer low/mid range gun.

Looks very cool! Can't wait to try one out. I agree with Andrewthewookie, I am really interested in the bolt. If they have improved that, they will have a great gun for the money. However, I still love my little G3!

I hope they got some of their shit together on this gun. I'm not liking the eye covers, but if they got rid of done of the out of box problems, made it more quiet, and efficient. It could give the eXTCy, and Rail a run for their money.

It looks great. not something im willing to pay 300 for though. I wish dp all the luck on this one i was a huge fan of the g3 its a shame the g4 got such a bad wrap, i personally just wasn't a fan of the oringless bolt.

This. If they make positive changes to the bolt engine, they've got a winner. If not, it's just another DP gun. Simple as that.

If they could just stick the TechT Bolt Engine (not bolt) in their marker stock and use good lube, I would buy this marker in a heartbeat. As it stands, unless there's something actually new about the bolt I'll be disappointed. Dangerous Power has always been on the cusp of having an amazing marker for the price.

With the G3 it was the absolutely shitty board.
With the G4 it was the terrible bolt stick and reliability issues.
Hopefully with the G5 they have them all solved. Of course, I said that about the G4 last time as well.

Exactly. They gotta make it a bit softer about a pod and a half more and then its got the rail and the envy tied. It does not need to be crazy efficient or crazy soft just enough compete with those two.
