ego8 vs ego9, what's the difference?

im a person who has been playing pb for quite a while now. i play mostly speedball and air ball. i rock a 07 nxt shocker but i am wanting an ego. does anybody know what the big difference is between the 08 and 09 egos besides the price?

One of the biggest difference is that it has a new solenoid system, in which you save 8 milliseconds when shooting at max rates. It has a larger trigger guard.

one year lol seriously though, the major differences are the solenoid, and the wiring is a little different from what I heard.

im not that big on air efficiency and i dont think 8 milliseconds is that great of an advantage. so should i save a couple hundred bucks and just go with the 08?

If you don't want to be with all the "agg" people with their brand new markers, then yea, an Ego8 will suffice. But personally, If I had the money, I would just splurge and get a Ego9.

solonoid is completely different and has eliminated the need for QEVs in the 09

HPR no longer holds air after the marker has been degassed

Bolt and rammer position have been redesigned to reduce drag

larger air chamber
