The lever being on the left kinda makes sense if you are a right handed shooter. You can leave your right hand on the trigger while using your left hand to cock it. If it was on the right you would have to take your strong hand off the trigger to re-cock it. I could go either way.

Yeah, I really dig what JT has done with the Splatmaster line. I was about to pick a few of these up for my son, until he decided he wanted to start playing with the big boys.
