Still looks ugly. Why would the army design a paintball gun when there are already a bunch of milsim paintball guns

Its for quelling riots and what not. Not to train.

Its not a paintball gun. Its a less than lethal riot control weapon.

FN303, you can pick them up for about $700
But you can't get them to chrono under 350fps when using first strike rounds. They are designed to rotate that magazine with each shot, and the amount of force that requires shoots the shit out of a paintball.
They load them up with first strike rounds, but they are filled with lead shot instead of paint.

eh whatever so summary,
Tom Kay helped develop this as a less then lethal device used to help control crowds.
the only paintball marker That was designed specifically for police training by Tom Kay was the Sydarm pistol. Which is so far off the Agg meter it's not even discernible ( at least that I know of.)
