i recently got a prostock pump and when i pump it back it back it cocks then it ends up covering the breach how do i adjust the cocking rod?

you may have the wrong size bolt. If it is a 2k5 body you need an evo length bolt, not a standard 2k one but if that is not the case, there should be a little screw in the back of cocking rod. Un do that, just make sure you have a good grip on the that fat piece. Undo that set screw, and then you can adjust the main screw

You mean the bolt isn't going far enough back to let a ball in? Try unscrewing the back block one or two turns so effectively the bolt goes back farther.
