So do we know what the internals of this gun is? I have not seen them. Is it a DM in a milslim body? Does this gun have a LPR? Or is it something completely new? I didnt read the whole thread but i haven't heard anybody talk about the internals.

I would assume they use the DM's internals, since its called the dye assault matrix. I cant find anything that officially says it though.

From what I can see in that video, it appears to be a rail style blow-forward bolt in that thing. Which makes sense, because it's only got the one reg in the gun.

I see it now. You're going to find another dyecam rotor, you'll have your full dyecam soft goods set, and a dyecam Dam.

Just as long as he's still got the P-camo headwrap, it's all good.

No air through stock?

Probably since a DM off a 13cu would get a little less than 2 pods, it would be useless for the guys who wanted to use it with a loader since they'd either have to run it without a stock and a stupid looking gun with the tank right out the back, or Dye would have to work on a dual ASA system that sealed off the other when one of them was used. If it was magfed only then it would be worth it then.

Nvm thought you meant tank in the stock.

Owning one and inspecting it I get the impression a through air stock may well come in time!

Holy shit a scope on a FS capable gun, what an outrage!

Its note really a scope to be honest, no magnification as such its what they call a brain sight. You keep both eyes open and the brains optical response is to overlay the two images. Its very smart although it takes some getting used to. Less effective in low light as the red dot is illuminated by natural light.

There is a port for a stock-thru air line that is plugged off. I can't remember but I believe the hustle paintball boys is where I got the info from.

It has DM internals. I met Rocky Cagnoni and Mike Paxson and they let me shoot their personal DAM when they were at the paintball store where I ref at (I only got to dry fire it though). They said it has almost the same mechanisms and bolt as the DM but just longer/stretched out.

Like I said, I got to hold it in person. It's definitely not plasticy. It's very sturdily built - It's like a freaking tank man!

I don't really like the look very much. The sniper version with the extended mag almost looks cool ... like a FAL/FN rifle. If you could attach a FN or a folding stock it wood like pretty cool. Then again i like WW2 and post war weapons more than the M4 / AK variants.

Nelson introduces the paint filled brittle shelled capsule, and the arms race was on to deploy it as efficiently as possible. Especially once PB went from a tool to mark trees n cattle to a game. And now enter this magnificent specimen of that arms race! I love it!
