get lots or rest
dont over estimate
stay focused
stay hydrated make sure guns and all equipment is functioning properly
get to fields early to walk them over

have parents orfriends pit for you so you dont have to constantly load pods

My persionaly advice for starting a team is this, don't. Join a team first and see how the team works from the inside and then you can take what you've learned and use that to start your own team.

Like others said, don't start a team, join one. Being a captain is tough stressful work, and chances are you won't like it. Make sure your team trusts each other and make sure communication is great. The most important thing is communicating, make sure everyone on your team knows where the other team is and how many are alive etc.
