[Pump Player]

similar 'engineering' both probably operate functionally very similar.

I have experience with the hooptie, and think it is a very nice kit for the price. Based on all Earon's other work I've experienced, I'd say this can only be a step up from the hooptie, however minor or preferential it may be, I can only imagine this being a good quality product based off all of the mans other work... I'm buying into his 'brand' with this assumption yes, but base on appearance as well, it looks simple and effective

Both of those designs are also known as the "WGP" or stock design

Anyway both look like nice basic pump kits, which first and foremost must look and feel good to the user, so I say go with it.

A pump kit is a pump kit is a pump kit.
All you pay for is different materials(metal vs. composite) and build quality, they all do a fairly simple operation.
I have a WGP sniper kit that's probably over a decade old and it still works perfect, and it was iirc 30 new, and I got it 20 used.

No, certain design differences do make significant differences -- stabilizers, dual rods, guide size and material, air passages for mini kits, etc.

All paintball guns do the same thing, but no one would suggest there is no practical difference between them; same situation here.

DRG is right. The primary difference between a CCM deluxe and standard kit is that one has dual rods, and one does not. Depending on how one plays, the kits may feel completely different b/c of the pump handle twist/bind that the standard kit allows.

i have this pump kit on an ans gx5. im not a big fan. i would dish out the extra money and buy a pump kit with some guide rods.
