Ok so for some reason the battery in my demon seems to be going down without me turning it on. Last time I turned on the gun and checked the battery it was somewhere around 60%-70%. I checked it now so I know where I stand for Sunday and it's down to 47%?! Do I have a bad battery or is that normal for rechargeable batteries in guns to do that such as in the luxe?

I think it's normal. My luxe and my demon both did that also.

It's technically not off just in a low power sleep mode. And by pressing the button brings it out if that mode. College education ftw

Its normal for everything that uses batteries

It's nothing unusual, my Creed does the same thing. If you are not using the marker for an extended period of time, it's a good idea to disconnect the battery, but it's not that big of a deal with rechargeables.

I did that with my envy, but like you said it doesn't matter with rechargeable batteries

Yeah this exactly. Learned it off a class, which was also at the local community college.

Normal but stupid, gun makers should really work on the standby drain

thats like saying we should solve the worlds energy problems by making generators that are 100% efficient.

WHAT? I didn't say they need to be %100 efficent but I'm into flash lights and ones with mechanical switches the standby drain is 0 but on ones with digital switches they have gotten the standby drain down to where it would take years to drain the battery, not saying they could get it that low but they should be able to make the battery last longer than a week or month.

Also game systems and digital cameras last a lot longer too.

But I also wish guns ran on AA's or CR123's or 3.7v lithium ions instead of 9v's but whatever haha.

I fail to see the logic in that statement.
If it's already possible to make boards that don't drain batteries (virtue and tadao use this as a selling feature) why is it dumb to say companies should make boards that don't drain batteries?

I've had some guns that would go through a battery in a matter of weeks if it was left plugged in; meanwhile my Shocker has had the same battery for over a year and shoots great.

Using a gun that's been hardly maintained and tossed from person to person more than a village whore is hardly a fair way to compare the marker.

the basic programming in a board makes it so that all boards drain batteries, how much they drain is a different story.

Hey so here is another question, is it better and faster to charge the gun when it's on or off taking into consideration the sleep mode
