I have never personally shot a proton but i have shot a mokal aura before which is what the proton is based off of. It is a decent marker but you can find a better gun at that price point like an etha or a mini.

All the ups they did to the proton I think make it one of the best guns in the range, only reason i didnt get one is because I couldn't even hold one

Can't go wrong with the mini or the proton. But you can find minis cheaper.

Honestly I prefer the morkal aura, is almost the same price and everything but I like the morkal aura better IMO
