A pressure tester is topically used on Bob Long guns. It is to make sure that your low pressure regulator is in a good operating pressure to make sure you get the best out of your marker. It helps shot quality and efficiency.

You can also make an easy tank pressure tester by adding a gauge to an asa to see the output pressure of your tanks or regulators.

the ones you make with an asa are used by screwing it into a reg or airtank and turning it on. the gauge will tell you the pressure output.
the bob long ones you remove the bolt or ram depending on what gun it is, screw the tester in then air the gun up and the gauge will tell you what your lpr is set at
