What are some spool valve guns that get great efficiency. I'm upgrading from an envy so I guess I would like to get around 8-10 pods from a spool gun. I know poppets get a better efficiency but I never owned or shot a poppet. At some point I might go to a store and ask to shoot a poppet but for now just looking at spools. Not interested in an axe, personal preference, so you can forget about mentioning an axe even though it gets good efficiency.

Axe is a poppet anyway. 8-10 is quite as ask for Axe money, a Droid or cheap VX'd Clone are the only things I can think of that would do it.

Both of those are tough to fined, even though I've been checking out the bst everyday for something. But thanks for the input. Once I get to shoot a poppet at a store, if allowed, and I like it I'll pick up a poppet for my next gun

many of the newer DM's should be able to get above 8
luxe's get closer to 7ish
drone DX's are very efficient as well.

The Clone GT's, and V3'd Demons are very efficient, if you can afford them. I think the Geo's might also be able to achieve the 8-10 pods you want.

Was looking at a drone for awhile now but just haven't got one. Waiting to see if something better pops up or something. People always say in this sport buying used is the way to go

I was getting 12 pods easily on my old 2012 demon, about a pod less on my 2013.

Used 2012 demon go for $550-$650. You can send it to frank and get it updated to 2013 spec for $300 which takes care of the Qev that some people have problems with. Not to mention it's probably the smoothest marker you will ever shoot. ;)

I want to say get a used DP Rev-I, if you can handle using a DP gun. I shoot it using a 50/45 and the techt bolt.

Will have to do an efficiency test sooner or later but mike did one

That's the price range I'm looking at but I have to find a used one. If I'm lucky someone will post one on the bst

To answer your question: The Geo 3.

If you want good efficiency and a simple maitnence, reliable marker then get the ego 11. I just ordered an ego 11 on boxing day and it will be arriving any day soon. Try a poppet- it sounds like what you need.

Btw an empire axe is an inline poppet not a spoolie

Yea I know it's an inline poppet thanks........and yea I need to go to a store and ask if I could shoot a pod or just air fire a poppet. Never have so I don't know if I'll like the vibration or kick compared a smooth shooting gun like a Geo, Droid, Demon, DM etc
