errrm...... WHAT!?! thats NOT right at all... you go off of the fill station gauge as previously stated, not the gauge on the tank for the exact reason that the tank gauge may not be accurate...
To the OP... go through and double check your guns pressures and reset the board to factory... if you want to leak check your tank just dunk the bonnet/reg in a sink or something similar

your tank will take as much air as can be pumped into it by your fill station. your fill station restrictor determines when it will stop filling
