so i whas thinking.. after reading some treads here.. are pump players cheap? i meen the biggest reasson some have to play pump is to save paint. when i play OC i usely use a hopper 2-3 pods pr game. the reasson i play pump is becuse its fun.. not to save paint

It is very fun, and it saves paint. I have been playing pump for about 2 years now, im only 15, but i have had the funnest paintball games ever with my pump. When you spraying 15 bps at someone and get them out, you have not really accomplished anything. But, when your shooting 1 bps and dome someone on purpose, you never forget it. and it saves you a bunch of money,time,air and paint.

Yeah, I got into pump mostly because my Trilly had a leaky 3-way, and I was too lazy to fix it. I wasn't planning on saving money, I just play for fun. It's just a happy coincidence that I shoot a lot less paint when pumping.

I started playing pump because i was 14 and had no way to pay for shooting lots of paint.
I continue to play pump now because its fun and I enjoy the challenge as well as improving my skill.

I've spent the past six years playing at first SC, then for the past two OC. I would usually use a pod a day playing SC, and with a nicer CCM like the T2 I currently use, I'm more inclined to say around 1/3-1/2 a case for a full day. The reason I first picked up pump was for the challenge, and it became the addicting thing that has kept a pump in my hand over any semi I have owned (Ego's, DM's, etc). I will say that whatever money I save on paint gets put into projects nowadays though. Having custom brass work done is becoming a real problem lately.

I don't think so pumpers around here usually auto trigger the fuck outta our pumps, except for the few OC users. We just play pump to go back to the basics and get better along with autotiggering like a mofo

That's how I started and why I'm still playing pump.
My laziness and the reliability and low maintenance of a quality pump gun go hand-in-hand. The fact that I don't shoot much to begin with only enhances my desire to use a pump as most semis just seem unnecessary to me. I can still shoot people out with a pump gun, so I don't feel the need to use much else.

I don't care for AT that much. If I ever wanted to shoot fast, I would use a semi.
If I do use it, it's only in a burst of 2 or 3.

Well I shoot pump mostly cause I enjoy it. But also to bring me back to the way of play I started. Also I just like the simplified setup no batteries not even in the hopper.

I am broke,not cheap.Cheap usually means you have money,just choose not to use it.And I play pump to save paint and because it is fun.Even if you only get 1 or 2 people out,you remember those outs.And,it can help you improve on your skills.You manage to see what you are doing wrong alot easier with pump.

I buy the highest end paint possible, but only shoot about a bag a week. So ... I wouldn't say that's cheap, but shooting less generally comes with the pump territory. It can be a useful tool to control cost.

well for me being a teenager and not having a job, I play pump because I do like the challenge but the money factor is a big thing. I like to save paint as well as one-ball people. May sound cheap but I like to spend money on other stuff as well so I cant go shooting a case a day especially at my field where its FPO and $10 per 100 balls..

Before I could only afford to go once a month, entry + 2 bags of paint was 35. Occasionally I could go 2 times a month, but after playing pump twice this past month I've realized I can easily go 2 times a month. I have a case of paint sitting in my room, that'll last me months with a pump. So I'm not necessarily cheap, just I can get more out of playing pump. Plus it's fun!
