CUNY Paintball Club Team

A few CUNY students and myself are looking for other students (undergrad, grad, phd) who go to any CUNY school in NYC and would be interested in playing on a club team. We already have a few people together but are looking for more. We would like to participate in NCPA tournaments and other local tournaments.

We are just in the planning stages now and are working on getting the team officially recognized by CUNY. However, it will be a club team so anyone that's interested is welcome to join. We have a practice scheduled for this Sunday 6/3. Anyone interested can PM me or post here if you are interested and I will get you more information.

Where are you guys practicing? I don't go to CUNY, but I'm just wondering.

Im starting college next year(next school year, im a HS senior now), so hopefully this will take off and i could join in.. Could be awesome..

And yea, where will you guys be practicing.. just wondering..

We are just starting to get practices going. We are probably going to run this week's practice at Cousins Strikeforce in Calverton. Long term, it sounds like we will probably do most practices at Meadowlands.

where you guys practice at? im in Staten island not a grad student but would love to join a club closer to home

If you are interested in coming out let me know and I can get you all the details. The more people we can get out the better. We are planning on running regular practices now through the summer. We also have a few other people from Staten Island who will be playing with us.

Hopefully i can get some money somehow, and buy an older used supergun, or higher-mid range one.. BL Marq.. or Etek3..

Should be cool though, i doubt im any good.. but maybe ill try to make it, once i can drive..

Everyone is welcome to come out(as long as they are an upcoming or CUNY student). We're hoping to have enough people so we can have a few lines broken up based on skill level, so no need to worry about begin out of your league. We have a few people working on getting the club recognized by CUNY, but we are starting practices now and hoping to jump into some tournaments as soon as we are ready.

If you interested feel free to PM me with your email address and I can keep you updated. Otherwise, I'll probably post info about practices here as it seems like there is some interest.

I'm not a cuny student anymore. I graduated CCNY in 2008. When I was there, the engineering groups had a bunch of outings. You might have some luck there.

If anyone else is interested please get in touch. We had our first practice last weekend and it went great. We would love to get more people out and a few lines going.
