Its an upgraded trigger but the CP triggers don't come with magnets. You have to use the stock spring return from the G3. Yes the magnet trigger kit will work with CP triggers. I have a CP Sling Trigger on my G3 with one of the Rendition magnet trigger kits and it feels amazing.

Second on the magnets working for the CP triggers. Though I did use some rare Earth magnets that I bought myself...
