Detasseling as in removing the pollen-producing tassel from a corn stock?

As a 5 year veteran I would say it's a good way to make money in a short period of time. Its easy but boring work and you can have a lot of fun messing/ talking with the other people in your crew. Depending on the company you work for you may have a dress code. if you are required to wear jeans and a long sleeve shirt I would highly advise against working there as the heat will be unbearable (check for other companies in your area). I worked for a smaller company that allowed us to wear whatever we wanted (girls took this to mean as little as they wanted Posted Image) I normally wore shorts and a cut off shirt in the morning as the moisture on the corn made it seem chilly. as the day went on the shirt came off and the sun tan lotion went on (need this or you will burn). You defiantly need to bring a hat and plenty of WATER.

pm me if you have questions about it

Ive done corn detassling 3 years (coming up on 4 years) and it is a great source of income for a budget baller. I have actually payed for every piece of equipment I own and every match I have played just by using money I earned from detassling. It is hard work but it eventually all pays off
Setup: Empire axe, cp barrel, Pinokio, Empire 68/4500, Empire E flex
