The manual says nothing about the type of tank reg, so I would assume standard tanks will work fine.

my g5 hits 300fps at 12ms dwell @ 180psi op pressure, im using an ninja adjustable reg toned down to LP (around 450psi output) and yes, it needs HPA not CO2.
