Hey guys I saw a video and forum post about how you need to turn the regulator screw in all the way and then slowly back it out.
At this point i assumed it was the velocity adjustment

Then it said once that step (^^^^^) is done take it to a chrono and adjust the velocity to 280.
At this point i dont even know where the "regulator adjustment screw" and "velocity adjustment screw" is because i dont think they are the same? Help?

Thanks
Joey

It depends. The HPR is typcially for chrono, and the LPR is for cycling, so adjusting that to some arbitrary stock setting gets the gun running, then changing the HPR is for chrono. What gun are we talking about? This only applies to guns with both LPRs and HPRs.

They could have also just been talking about how to get the HPR in the ballpark of the proper pressure so you don't blow out your noid if it's just a single reg gun.

In this case, it's simply to get the reg in the right area, so that it doesn't take forever to chrono or you don't damage any seals with a high pressure.

So they are the same thing? I think i understand but not sure if they are the same screw with different names?

They are the same screw. However, on markers like the Axe, there are two screws, the regulator screw, and the velocity adjustment screw. It all depends on the gun.

Are you guys sure its not the one actual velocity adjustment screw on the side, and then the hole on the bottom you turn to take the whole regulator off?
