They have fill stations at 2 turf fields.
Skyline is getting turf but not for a while and its all the way out in Woodbridge which depending on your location can be very far.
Pevs for the record.

If distance is a factor, it depends on where you live (more precisely).
If you like speedball, Pev's is where it's at. It's got great facilities! However, they offer no woodsball, and the only shade is a couple of small tents between the speedball areas. Here's a pic from their website:

If you like woodsball, then Skyline could be good (I've only gone there for a scenario), I've gotten plenty of positive comments from people I know local to me.
If it's not too far from you, I strongly recommend you check out Warplay Paintball. High quality structures in the woods. They rent A-5s with RTs, allow full auto, first strike rounds, grenades, and even rockets (i.e metadyne) for walk-on play. They do respawns with 20min matches and every round is mission based (i.e. attack a fort, cross a bridge, or escort the president). Reffing quality has been consistently good and they should be opening a turf'ed airball field This upcoming Sunday.
A good number of people in the area like Hogback . My main complaint there is the fact that the support/staging area is at the bottom of the hill and, the fields are all up top.

For Hogback though they do have dead zones or safety zones where you can buy paint, drinks, and refill on air. Games go quick to, always good spot to have fun or bring new players. It's not generally focused on airball .
One thing I would like to add to this discussion is Taneytown MD. It is where almost every team spends a lot of time on the turf. Also would like to know more of what you rate higher subjects you rate higher. Reffing, Prices, Distance, Fields, Competition.

^^^ that guy knows his stuff. I ref up there, and i have played at pevs. Skyline is WAYYYYYYY cheaper. for a full day it is 25$ and that includes rentals if you need it and all day air, paint ranging from 45-70... maybe not sure on that one. but it is much cheaper. the refs, from experience playing, are very helpful and nice, as is Sue. the fields are nicer, more woodsball influenced, but there is tons of shade.

I still haven't played at Skyline yet but play at Pev's and Hogback all the time. After reading this thread though about the speedball field not being accessible by walk ons, I may never go. I like having a choice on what field I feel like playing on at any moment, and Pev's has that. I like playing both speedball and rec ball, and I don't think I'd be able to go to Skyline and LOOK at the speedball field knowing I wasn't allowed to play on it because I'm not part of a competitive team. Hogback unfortunately doesn't have speedball. I really wish they did, because I like their recball fields. They may never have one though, based on the layout of the land they have available to them.
Anyway, as far as price goes Pev's and Hogback and Skyline appear to be almost dead even. Entry fees and rental prices appear to be very close. Skyline appears to have an edge if you buy a case of paint ($10 off entry fee). Hogback is the priciest now in terms of paint. Cases go for $60 for 1 star, $70 for 2 star, and $80 for 3 star. Pev's sells one grade, a mid-level for $55. No price was listed for Skyline's paint, but it looks like they sell different brands, so there may be a range of prices there. I would bet though that prices are similar to the other fields.
So in my opinion, it will probably all come down to the distance you have to travel to get to the field, and the types of fields you like to play on. For me, Pev's is closest, and has all the field types I want. If I had to pick solely based on rec ball fields though, I'd probably pick Hogback, because they have some big fields with a lot more woods (shade is nice in the summer!). Again, I haven't played Skyline, but from their pics it looks like they have some nice recball fields.
