If you can then yeah I would, if you have to sell it your not going to get much (even though its mint). The resale value on G4's was already bad, now that the G5 has been announced they will likely drop even lower...

see this link for return info - http://www.ansgear.com/terms.asp
It says on the page that all returned items must be: "brand new, factory sealed and unused" so I dunno how your gonna get around that...

Then you're golden, just call them and tell them you want to return it.

I would, you only take a small 15% hit on the restocking fee vs losing 25-50% on resale value once u open the box

Also the macroline and fittings kinda suck, would be nice to be macroless

I would get the G5.
Im not bashing the G4, but having experience in maintaining multiple G4's, here is what i found out when i got my G5.

1) You have the ball bearing in the inline regs of the G4 which, if installed or lubed wrong can/would make the gun shoot hot or shoot low, depending on how the ball bearing was installed/lubed (i made this mistake, but i figured it out)
The regs of the G5 are more alike to the E1/G3/G3 SpecR/Threshy regs where the adjustment screw is in the bottom of the reg. So less user error in that regard.

2) The ASA on the G5 was redesigned so that the vent holes are in the bottom of the ASA's, instead of above the ASA's like the old RAPS where people were having blown o-rings coz the grip screws of the ASA were blocking the vent holes. Again less user error.

3) The Techt bolt engine of the G4/SpecR cannot be used in the G5 coz the G5 would shred the sail O-ring of the bolt engine. This i found out the hard way, just a heads up.
