Wanted to weigh my gun down to make it super extra mega smooth. Theres a tonne of empty space in a gripframe and in a loader where the batteries go. Was thinking of using lead, but I'm not a big fan of being killed. Tungsten however looks far more appealing, and far more expensive, but it'll work, according to some volume to weight calculator its 11oz per square inch, which is plenty.

Good idea?

What's wrong with using lead? Just don't eat it, and you'll be fine.

Just don't like having it around, I get hungry sometimes. Plus tungsten is heavier.

Why not get a gyro system? I don't think increasing the weight would be the most effective. Even my friends Alpha Black kicks like a mule and it weighs like 5 pounds

Gyros are common in rc heli's and photography (expensive). Basically you have two electric motors spinning weights one on a vert axis the other on a horizontal axis. probably could make one though... I'll try to get backk to you on this within the week Cookie

Sounds complicated, interesting concept though.

just use Osmium. It's 22.59g/cm3. Only costs around $350 per gram.

naw what you want is Depleted uranium, great for weights and bullets.

Anyway if you did use lead you could always get lead shot and seal it in a bag that way you could fit it in the space you have while not having to worry about touching it

I would just purchase some lead because it is cheap, wrap it in ductape and then jam it on in there, my Dm3 is so smooth because it already weighs a ton =) I will never mill it.

Get A Spartan Hoplon Shield made of Bronze and wood it weighs about 30 pounds and bolt onto the bottom of your marker. Where I play woodsball gun hits dont count so you have a shield and a gun that shoots money! Posted Image
Come for my guns and I will gladly give you my bullets.

I like the shield idea, but to improve on it you'd need to mount it just like a beyonet, and cut a hole for the barrel.
It would even be do-able to make the shield even bigger, and add a peep hole to aim.
