Rather than modify the gun, I thought of just disconnecting the Cyclone and attaching a pump arm to the rod on it. Then it will load a ball when you pull forward.

Good idea?

i suppose you could. The only thing i can really thing of is that the rod is plastic (if I remember correctly) and might break if there is too much flex put on it, so you may want to carefully thing how the pump arm is connected to it. Or you could get some cyclone upgrades that make that rod out of metal

Though I think the one cyclone upgrade from TechT has a metal rod instead of plastic.

Wouldn't the pump arm be offset to the right, though?

I'd have to work around it, I think if it works it will be good since it would be able to swap between semi and pump just by unplugging the cyclone.

So can anyone think of a way to do this easily? I'm thinking just a metal bar that curves at some point to go inline with the barrel, then something hollow to fit over the barrel, it's going to be pretty wobbly though.

it could be done, but the difficult part would be modding the rod to actuate the cyclone. You could use the existing cyclone arm, or take the cyclone piston apart and mount it directly to the piston.
