a paintball gun to school.

I am posting this up cause I thought some of my fellow Pistolero's out there could help me. I am looking for a new barrel for my TPX, as the stock one is nice, but I want something with a little more "piz-zazz" to the look. I want to try and find one that is also kinda functional. Hence, I am looking for a 7 inch APEX 1 barrel. I tried to find them in Apex 2, but google wasn't having it.

Does anyone know where I can find one of these short Apex Barrels made for A5/X7 threads? Or is it a custom job and I have to talk to someone?

Any info would be gratefully appreciated!

Need to read the subtitle in his topic. Its basically a continuation of what he was saying there.

Anyway.
Check out the F.L.A.S.C. barrels they are 6.75" and i beleive they fit the Apex 1 barrel only, possibly an apex 2.

Isn't there an A5/X7 threaded apex?Or are you worried it won't fit?

A5/X7 barrel threads fit, but I don't want a 14 inch barrel on a 7 inch gun, that'd just look silly haha. I'd like to get something that gets as close to "snug" on the barrel to make it look like a suppresor as much as possible.

I also don't want to just get a "mock" suppresor, I'd like to get something with functionality, and I figure APEX 1 (or 2 if possible) is the way to go.

Cut down the barrel and re-thread it.
And I think that would look fucking awesome. You could barrel tag pretty easily :P

As long as the barrel is A5 threaded, I believe so.

Caution, that one looks like it flares out near the threads. Remember that the TPX can only hold barrels with a outer diameter. This one may be a little too large. F.L.A.S.C. does make TPX specific barrels though. I know Rockstartactical.com carries them as does their own company website.

Edit I just realized that was the company website you linked. Here's the Rockstar link. http://www.rockstart...dbl-687-tpx.htm

theres a way that you can use electrical tape to create the grooves that hold the apex on. Why don't you try that on a stock x7 barrel? they should be easy and cheap to find. If you're worried about the goop from the tape, a quick once over with clear coat or clear nail polish should help

Because I am looking for a shortened barrel...maybe I am confusing people...I want the barrel to stick out just a little past the TPX Barrel tip...like such...
