I saw today that Bill SB 798 which would severely limit paintball in California by forcing all paintball guns to be painted bright colors so as to distinguish them form real firearms. The bill was rejected awhile ago and not much was said about. Now it's being proposed again according to this facebook page. This news just broke, hopefully more word on it will surface soon.

how do they plan to enforce this though? go to a paintball field and spray paint everyones guns orange? like hell they're gonna pay anodzing fee's to everyone who has a paintball marker/airsoft gun. are they just gonna make all the new ones coming in fit that regulation if it passes?

you do know to compete your gonna need to have it anno'ed pink... orange and yellow isn't allowed in the tournament scene haha

Umm I have seen this this bill only applies to airsoft because those at immitation of real fire arms and that paintball have a unique shape so it might not be mistake as a real firearm unless mill sim

I think its stupid because if your at a paintball facility why would you have to distinguish between real firearms and paintball markers
