I live in Florida, and wanting to join the CFPS league. While on their site i check their rule book, and all they say is that they follow the same rules PSP follow. While reading the PSP rulebook, it says that any type of cleat or spike are not allowed, is this true? Can anyone shine some light on this?

From what I understood, (total ballpark guess) you are not aloud to wear cleats with METAL spikes.. Not sure about this though.

Also, welcome to techpb!!!

Well that is just simply not true. Cleats are the most common item worn at those events next to masks. And I guess jerseys.

Especially since they take place on grass fields.

No metal spikes seems to be a common rule among fields so that's probably what is meant.

100% sure thats in reference to metal cleats, or cleats with a sharp spike.
the refs dont check though, so as long as you're not wearing like golf shoes or something, you'll be ok.

Never wear metal cleats to a pb field. plastic/rubber cleats are 99% of the time ok.
