Just buy a marker with quick contacts, instead of the regular connector.
Bring batteries and an allen key.
Done.

No they will, for all intensive purposes the phenom is just a mag inside an x7 body.

Bringing Allen keys on the field will get you one big fat suspension where I play...n basically it's illegal

Pretty sure he means bring them to the field so you can change batteries in the pits, not try and change batteries while on the field

Yeah I know they're not allowed, but if you wanted to change on the field you need the quick contact type of connector and the snap screws that will let you open the grips without tools.

I use the Phenom and you can use it without a battery.
