I been needing a laptop! i need one for school, gaming, and alot of other things.

I heard great thing about ASUS for the price. and I can get this laptop barely used for $700

it has 6gb of ram
500 gb hard drive space
geforce 460x (something like that) graphic card.
And some other cool little accesories

Should i get it? or is it not worth it?

I have moeny for a laptop but trying not to spend no more then 900 and cheaper is better..

It's a very nice laptop. My dad purchased one about a year ago for gaming purposes and loves it (same model I believe)

This laptop does have some weight to it (3.85 kg = 8.5 lbs) and is fairly big to carry around. Also, the (2) rear exhaust vents look huge in the picture, but when you actually look behind the laptop into the exhaust grill, its a lot smaller. They give it an appearance of being a BIG exhaust vent, but its not. It does exhaust heat out very quickly though.

Other than the weight and size, its a really nice laptop.

Well, why do you want the laptop? Portability? Battery life? Performance?
Now one and two go together, and three is alone, so you have to pick.
What will you be doing on it mostly? Because gaming on a laptop doesn't work, because laptops go into double digit weights, battery life becomes shorter than the laptop's name's length and blah blah blah.

If you want to game, my recommendation is a cheap laptop (and I mean cheap) and a budget PC, or better yet a mid range PC.

If you can find a reliable seller, then I would consider buying used.

Buying a used item can be risky.

But if you buy used you don't get the warranty, and ASUS has an amazing warranty on laptop.

If you have the ASUS warranty, even if YOU break it within the first year, they will replace it for free, seriously, google the warranty.
