Last night, as I was sitting around enjoying the company of my family, I came to the realization that Mike was right. Paintball is just a game. I mean, it's summer, I have plenty of free time, and yet, yesterday, I hardly thought about paintball at all. I have an amazing girlfriend, a wonderful family, a job, and school. And the startling fact I came to last night is that I want to spend more time with them, and more time working and bettering myself. Paintball is fun, but it isn't nearly as important to my identity as I thought it was. Has anyone else realized this? Or am I just late to the party?

No your not the onlyone to realize that right now I dont care about paintball I have the summer to do what ever I want then I get to chase bad guys and ride in a car with lights on the top not going to waste my summer playing paintball

Stop worrying about how you look, and start worrying about how you play. Get out on the field and play paintball the best you can, not stand at home in front of a mirror trying to figure out if your jersey matches your eyes.

I have got two kids, a wife, and a fulltime job. Although I spend a good deal of my working hours on the forum, I dont use a lot of actual free time here. Now that I am picking back up my studies, my time here has cut in half, at least. Come fall, I will be working a full time job, plus going 6 hours a day to school, plus having my wife and kids. Odds are that paintball will be on the back burner for the next 6 years.

I realized this senior year in High School (I'm 22 now). I've played once since then.

The ultimate truth in paintball is that the interaction between the gun and the player is far and away the largest factor in accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

I haven't played paintball since the second week of January back in 2011, it doesn't bother me that much. Like you said, paintball is a game, it's for fun, it's not the end of the world if you don't play it every single weekend. Some people get more joy out of it than others do.

I have to admit, though, I have always enjoyed whoring guns more than the actual game. When a play day comes, I am happy, and have a good time. When I have a gun on the way, I am waiting on pins and needles like a small child waiting for Christmas presents.

Yeah, I'm similar. I'd be a happier with a large collection, assuming I'd have a way to properly display them. Not to say I wouldn't enjoy using them and playing paintball, but it sure would make me proud to have a large collection of paintball stuff hanging on the wall in my living room.

I was just going to say that lol. I'm surprised how many people havent played in a while that are still on here, but I imagine thw whoring is just as fun if not funner than playing. I go at least once a month, if not more.

"why do you have all these guns?"

*flex my muscles*

"cause baby, they gonna shoot you off like a rocket ship"

*kiss the guns one at a time*

I'm not as into paintball as I used to be, it just costs too much, so I play when I have the monies and a bunch of my friends are going.
