I am saving up for new gear. I am completely torn between this gear but i can't justify spending the money on the rotor. If anyone has any advice please let me know. Im leaning towards the proton with a prophecy or a scion. I have shot the mini and i thought it was a little small but that will take some getting used to. Thanks

Unless you really want to buy new, you can find great used mid-range guns for $350 such as the axe or etek. As far as hoppers go, I'd recommend the pinokio!
Current marker setup: Drone DX, Pinokio w/Exalt Speedfeed, Guerrilla 68/45 My Feedback 4/0/0

Get a DM9, and a Valken Vmax. I have both of these (on loan) and I love them! Only thing is the Vmax can feed inconsistently sometimes
Hey I play paintball. I like it.

You can find a good used rotor in the BST for $90. IMO the spire is better, but good look finding one of those used. I have been looking and can't even find one. As far as markers, I would go with the Invert mini v3.

The extcy is better than all of those imo and I have a pinokio but I wish I got a rotor.
New Extcy- $250
Used rotor- $100-120
So if you bought both used then you would save a lot of money. You could probably get both for sub 300

the extcy will not compare to a used super gun, like the dm 9 mentioned, you could also get a used ego for that which are almost bulletproof reliable

If your hell bent on buying new get the mini. It's been around forever and with the v3 it seems the engineered the problems out of it. It's also backed with a lifetime warranty by a great company that's not going anywhere anytime soon. The only downfall of the mini is that the reg isn't user serviceable. But if your willing to spend $50 more than

I'd take a good look at the ETHA if I were you.

Oh and the rotor is my personal choice in hoppers but from what I've heard you can't go wrong with the spire or v2 either. I don't know much about the pinokio because I really haven't fealt the need to research them because I never really wanted one.

Might I suggest a pinokio for a hopper. They are very light, can hold about 50 more balls than most other superloaders, and are on sale new for $100 on ANSgear.

They are also very reliable and have that capability of holding 400 rounds if you put on the larger front attachment.

This, except I like the prophecy better.
Doesn't matter what gun you have, how old you are, what paint you shoot, who your up against, how bad of a day you had... All that matters is that your playing paintball now.
