Hello everyone! I've been thinking of grabbing a new pump soon, and I thought about it, and I think I want to give it a custom paint job. I wanted to try something like this:



What bodies would be best for this project, and how should I go about it?

Honestly, 'Cocker bodies are 'Cocker bodies.
Most often milled from a block of aluminum with several holes drilled through it, sometimes with special milling on the body.

So no matter which body you decide to use, it's most likely to be made of aluminum.
That makes a difference to painting. Very few primers will adhere to aluminum and no paint job will stick if what's underneath can peel off.
This is why most aluminum bodies or barrels are annodised rather than painted.

It can be done, but the product needed is often restricted to industrial use.
