i have a pmi 68/4500 tank with what i think is the stock reg. anyways the low pressure (1.8k) burst disk is leaking. i put it in my brothers '11 rail and it started to leak when i pulled it off. why is it doing this? p.s. i think the regulator is loctited or something because no matter how hard i try i cant get the reg off of the tank.

Crossover 100% its a worlds better marker. the only advantage to the proton would be the board. but since tippmann released the new trigger the crossover is one of, if not THE best marker in the price range
Thats why your trying to get rid of yours right? Damn Newbie XD

You would need a vice to take the regulator completely off the tank. It's possible an o-ring inside is wearing and needs replacing. Are you sure it's the LP disk? Try inverting the tank in a cup of water and see where the bubbles are coming out of the regulator. Could be a much simpler fix.

I literally felt the air coming from the lp disk. Could i just tighten it down or leave it alone? Once i fill to full capacity it shouldnt have low pressure right?

If you fill it, air will come out of the burst disk if it is indeed blown. You need to replace it. It goes off if there was a spike in output pressure. They are pretty cheap, most paintball shops should have them for under $5 each.
