Price at the link is $159.95. That's about $10-20 cheaper than PE.

Do you play competitive paintball? If yes, you understand.

It's not simply driving to the field with your gear, it becomes a case for all your belongings. It needs to be able to get filthy, and easily cleaned. It has to be padded to protect your expensive markers. It should be able to be locked down. Etc.

Because it's a bag that's specially designed for paintball, and paintball is an expensive sport. Why pay $1500 for a high end marker? Because you can.

I have a 2007 (I think) NXe Executive bag (whenever they did the Dynasty Blue ones).
The thing is still going strong, and now I use it for long trips because my older suitcase is beat to hell.

I use a small square laundry basket for my gearbag. I can't justify spending that much on a gearbag even though I'm betting they are awesome to have.

I play competitive paintball and I agree but also disagree. You definitely need a big $200 paintball bag to hold all of your stuff. I bought a $60 rolling suitcase that works great.

Tournament players want padded marker slots for their guns, yet beat the piss out of them on the field. I don't think padding is necessary...
