My G3 Spec-R is having issues. It only fires every other trigger pull. My settings are factory. Semi, 12bps, dwell 12,... I took apart and serviced the regulator, I stack the shims correctly, changed the battery, lubed the bolt (Dye Slick lube) chrono about 250-260 fps. Im hoping its not a solenoid problem.

Where is the trigger activation point? Is the microswitch not activated until the very end of the trigger pull, or is it somewhere in the middle of pulling the trigger?

End of the trigger pull. I'm sorry my description is wrong, it fires but a paintball only fires every other trigger pull, my loader is a Dye rotor.
dry firing it cycles everytime.

Check to make sure the eyes are clean, and if they look clean, you might as well clean them anyways. Is it a consistent pull-shot, pull-nothing, pull-shot, pull-nothing, etc?

Also, I'm assuming it only does this with the eyes on and paint in the gun?

Yeah. Only when the eyes are on and paint in the gun.

Well, give the eyes a good cleaning and see if that does anything.

Could it be boltstick? Just make sure you have a good coating of dow33.

At first I had bolt stick issues but I cleaned and relubed with Dye Slick lube I didnt have any Dow33. It cycles everytime I pull the trigger meaning it fires but a paintball only comes out every other trigger pull. I have done everything from clean and lube the bolt, set the dwell to 12, cleaned and adjusted the regulator, removed and serviced the solenoid, cleaned the eyes (and made sure the eyes are working). I tried adjust the trigger but the 2 black adjustment screws wont move in or out im afraid I am going break the allen key, strip the set screw.

I am going to chrono the gun today at a local field and test again.

Thanks

I know I was having a little bolt stick the other day, so the bolt would sit right where a paintball wouldnt drop into the breach, but if you shot it eyes off, youd get like 3 or 4 shots, then a blank, then 3 or 4 more.

Trigger adjustment shouldn't be a problem. Use the shorter end of the allen key, to put more leverage on it, they are locktited down.

Also, the Dye lube IS a version of Dow 33
