You want to lower it if it's firing too early.

alright, feel like i'm doing something wrong here:

removed the IVG cap. and removed the spring (well it actually just slid out)
went to the Hammer and the lug (which is the little screw inside the hammer right?)

i turned it 1/2 a turn inside the hammer.

Put everything back, no difference, the front O-ring is still infront of the feedneck

so i figured i'd go backwards,

turned back 2.5 turns (so 2 turns from stock)
no difference in activation point.

turned back 2 full turns again (4 turns out of the hammer)

no difference in AT activation point.

?????? so confused.

I'm just as confused as you are. I know a decent amount about the Sniper, but I have no experience with altering the AT.

Ran my sniper with the 10rd loader attachment it comes with. I love MSC its very challenging. plus i only shot around 200 balls and i loved it because i started going behind the other team and barrel tagging or shooting them. Felt like a ninja. So i do plan on getting a phantom because the problem with the 10rd loader it comes with is that it is spring fed so u have alot of steps to reload. 1. Set spring back. 2. turn back cap 180 degrees. 3. pour paint. 4 turn back cap back to its shooting position. 5. flip spring back. 6. SHOOT. It was fun though and i just put 5 tubes in my goggle strap and it worked fine. Buying a wrist harness tho or a joyride pack

Remove bolt. look down into where the bolt was and there should be a place to put an allen key. try that

Yeah, did you try adjusting the hammer lug from the back of the hammer, or through the top of the body? Because the only way to adjust hammer lug depth is through the little hole in the top of the body.

You can take the spring out. I like the way Phantoms feed paint though. I want to make the speedfeed the Phantom uses and take the spring from the tube.

figured out the trigger thing. So the nut that goes left and right of the hammer is pushed up against the one that controls when the trigger activiates, (which is the one that goes up and down into the hammer, found by removing the bolt out) now my front bolt's Oring JUST clears the feedneck when it auto triggers. awesome.

I got my sniper about a month back, and glad to say it was a good investment. This is my first pump so I can't complain too much.
Though i do have a few questions.

For some reason, the trigger pin is very loose, a few dives or even hard vibrations could probably knock it out of place. currently keeping it together with squares of duct tape on both sides :[

Second, is if you decide to flip the 300 psi gauge, is it difficult process? Is it just a matter of unscrewing the gauge and plug and reversing them?
I'm too afraid of going INTO the gun and messing something up haha.

as for removing the feedneck, I once did it by hand, and it was literally hell. Putting it back on was not my best move ever (scratched the body slightly)
I ended up using a fairly thick screwdriver, working my way into the slot where the screws would go. Then it becomes fairly easy to pry the feedneck wide enough to remove it, or attach it back on.

I'm playing Pump at Galveston and considering just picking one of these up at the event. I'm not picky at all. Just needs to work right, and feel good.

I wasn't terribly opinionated when getting a pump, so the detents in the stroke that people complain about are almost non-existant when you're in game. These markers are great choices.

yup, unscrew the gauge and the plug, and putting them back in, AS a note: you should use some thread sealant to prevent an air leak, if you do not... you might get away with it... you might not.

Hmmm I wonder if the pump stroke would be enough noise to activate the prophecy and if the gun shooting would jam the hopper or break a ball,

Mike uses a Z2 on his, and I never saw it jam. Many people use electric loaders and are fine. The shot will be enough to activate a loader, and I may be able to do a video by the end of the week with my Invert TOO (sound activated) if you would like.

Hey guys, quick update: I wouldn't dry pump this gun all day everyday (like me), because I looked into the breech and saw I chopped a detent right off. The fix was done in under a minute: Unscrew the detent cover screw and remove the cover, take the broken detent out, pop the new one in, and screw the cover back on.

I'll be using it next Sunday, and will probably put a video about my experiences so far with it on YouTube!

Is the bolt not slotted on the sides so it doesn't hit the detents?
