Not in the slightest. Of course there is a limit everything and where the line goes is depening on how big you budget is. Having a backupmarker is nice in case your main shooter goes down or you can lend it to a friend, and i suppose a pump or magfed could be nice to have in case you want to save on paint. For example if you had something like 2 pods left and there is one or two games left. With a electro that can be a stretch if you are triggerhappy. But with a pump, you won't be able to throw to much paint down range.

I usually like to have 2-3 set ups (at least masks, tanks, guns and hoppers and packs) when I am going places, so I always have back ups for everything. If your gun goes down, due to some freak accident like your board snapped in half or something, it's good to have something there to keep ya in the game!

Having at least 2 guns is a good idea because if your primary does down you have a backup to keep playing with.

It's your hobby; do whatever's fun. Personally, I enjoy building and collecting markers as well as playing, and when I do play, I love variety.
