We would appreciate any input on fields in Ohio. We dont have any listed yet! Please include if it favors Woods, tourney or a mix of both.
Thanks!

Just post a reply and I'll update it. If you could just post the name of the field, location, and then a link to their website, that would be awesome.
Markers: PGP, Pump Trillogy, Tippmann 98, Bob Long Protege, VSC Phantom
Hoppers: Pinokio, Revy, Winchester
Tanks: 13/3000 Ninja, 68/4500 PE Mask: JT Flex 8

HELL TO THE NO.
best fields in ohio (that i've been to) by category:
airball/tournament players: TPA paintball
woods/rec: splatterpark
Other decent fields I've been to that I might as well mention: pinnacle woods (pricy but decent airball/woods), synergy (Good woodsball), battlezone paintball (havent been there in years but has nice woodsball and had a current airball for that year. Not sure about now. Prices are a little high though.)

Excuse me but don't be so rude. It's my opinion that synergy is one of the best woodsball fields because the extremely helpful and friendly people, they have 3 awesome different woodsball fields and 1 xball field and one speedball field. I will describe the woodsball fields. Mounds- a big open field with tall grass, big mounds, misc barriers,a pickup truck, and a pirate ship. Meat grinder- woodsball meets the woods. Fence barriers, trees, on dirt, with a fun high paced game style. Fort Synergy- as woodsball as it gets. On one side has a two story castle type fort with ladders, castle turrets, it's awesome! They have a great shooting range and an incredibly nice staff. They sell stuff at the field such as grenades, gloves, and knee pads. The games have great competition and they do a good job of separating noobs from experienced players for a fair and fun game. The skill ranges from families and birthday parties to the hardcore guys. So that is why I like this field why do you like splatter park?

Paint price at Synergy is rediculous. It's like $60-$70 for Valken Grafitti.
I guess it's no better at Splatterpark. Isn't it like $60 for Wrek Elite paint?

I believe its $55 for a case of wrek elite, entry, 2 air fills, and lunch. Wrek Elite is near the lower end of what you would consider "mid end". Its better then like zing or infinity or any other low end stuff fields try to pass as good.

I stlll don't want to drive an hour and a half to play when there is a field 20 minutes away.

Cheaper paint, if you mean cheaper quality then yes, but they sell the exact same paint in the store in Columbus for $35 where as if you are not a member and you want to buy a case of that paint it is $27 for 500 so that equals out to 108 a case! I played there last weekend and had a peanut shaped paintball jam my Rotor on the field. If you want woodsball i guess its an ok place, but not for speedball. They have said for years they where going to get a new field but haven't and the field layout hasn't changed in i dunno 5 years. So when it gets wet there is some nasty mud that forms by the bunkers, i have washed my pants 3 times and still dirty. They fill your tanks super fast so once they cool down they only have a good 3800 to 4000 psi. I have only been there once when a ref was on the speedball course, meaning some kids where using ramping, wiping and just giving paintball a bad name. This is my teams last resort as a place to play and there is a definite reason why.
