I understand the want to merge peoples double posts to reduce their post count and stop spamming, but it makes it hard to post lots of pictures in a row. Also if you are trying to make a large thread and trying to reserve the top few posts to be used latter this auto-merg feature will make that impossible. Please discuss.

The ultimate truth in paintball is that the interaction between the gun and the player is far and away the largest factor in accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

And yes, Gordon is the sexiest manifestation of "to the front."

Its set at 2 mins right now...So if you just get up and make yourself a sandwitch you'll be good to go ;)

Really...The only issue comes when people are trying to post more than 10 images (the limit in a single post).

We'll look into this and have some conversation, see if we can't do something for you!

Thanks Tenacious, I wasn't aware it had a time out period. That would still interfere with the trying to reserve the top few post on a massive info thread if someone sneaks into the thread and posts before those 10 minutes are up, but I wasn't planning on doing one anytime soon. Any ideas how we can resolve that situation though?

Well we can turn it down...but then you'll start to get double posts...what this feature does is combine posts from the same person into one post, saving space (no extra signature or avatar)

-Tenacious

Agreed, double posts are definitely annoying. Maybe we could turn up the amount of images allowed to post? Or maybe there's an option if you are posting again it wont automatically try and merge the posts if you are posting more images?? Thanks for looking into it Tenacious, I really appreciate your work here on the board!
