How do you keep a conversation alive while texting?

With someone who insist on answering with one worded text like you ask Whats up, they reply nm. I find it very hard to say anything back to this and thats were the conversation is dead Posted Image

Try using "what's new?" or "what you been up to this week?" instead. For whatever reason if I text that to people they are more likely to tell me something they've been doing or something different.

I normally point it out. I know some girls like to keep their texts brief, but when they have 1 or 2 word responses a couple times in a row I point it out. If they text you first that must be how they text.

Try to get them to put morre in a text message.

If they do that, dont answer them for a little bit and if they send you another message they want to talk, if not they dont really care if they talk to you or not hahahaha. But all you gottta do is ask questions or talk about shit they are interested in.
