Does the barrel have first strike rifling, or is it hammerhead proprietary rifling?

I would hope so. Also, what's the bore on the rifling?

Considering it is a first strike capable barrel, probably .690 and up. Hopefully...

But that would kinda render the rifling useless. The Lapco barrels were like .684 or something like that to engage the FS round.

if i was able to put a short 14 inch barrel on it and a different stock, i would rock that... needs to be more compact though, like a carbine... but, i can see the appeal for FS shooters...

I wish it looked like a M14 instead of a Remington MSR

It'd be neat.

I love the bolt action mode, and the ASA in the stock, and the clip. They definitely got a lot of things right with this marker.
It's actually kind of a shame it looks so good though, this thing definitely will get the cops called on you. One of the reasons I love speedball guns so much is it's easy to see that they're not a firearm.

If they make it decently efficient (minimum 150 shots per fill on a 13/3000) I will seriously consider getting one.

here is my question do the mags really need to that damn wide ! 4-5 inches wide just seems like overkill I get the mil-sim realism thing but functionally that extra width is useless, and in the real world an engineer would try to make them as small and light as possible.

In a real world a engineer wouldnt design a marker to come stock with a 20" barrel either. I liked the models but now I see how huge the thing is Ive pretty much lost all interest.

While we're at it, let's get rid of the long barrel and stock. Plus, the bolt action is far less convenient than a semi, so we'll ditch that. Hell, if you stick the paintballs in a hopper above the gun, you don't even have to deal with mags anymore, and you get a huge capacity boost.

The point is, this was designed to fit an image, not to fit the needs of everyone.

"designed in Indiana" and "made in the USA"... I wonder if that means they are located in Indiana, If so, I'd like to see go check them out. I don't think I'd be interested in a bolt action marker, but checking them out first hand would be pretty neat.

What also interests me is the specs... "Semi-auto engine... coming soon". I have a feeling they will make a wide variety of first strike markers in the future. This bolt action marker is hopefully the start to an awesome company.

The SAR-12 is both bolt action and semi-auto. It will come with both capabilities. The video in post 13 shows a demonstration of both.
