Nope, as long as you didn't search what the phrase is, then you just used your resources, basicly, of you only used google as a dictonary, than yes, you are not disqualified.

Had an idea but wanted to look it up to be sure.
Turns out the answer was a bit more in depth than I thought, but I was on the right track.
I'll offer a hint: "Police police".
