Alright, due to the number of requests that I get I will now start to take barrels for freak boring.

Price will be $30 per barrel plus actual shipping back to you. I will be accepting barrels in trade. I will offer a discount of $10-15 per extra barrel you send along. You pay when I ship the barrel back.

Things to note:

  • Not all barrels can be freak bored. If it's one I know works that's fine. If I haven't seen it in person I'll need a picture with a ruler.
  • This is custom work - I try to do them quickly but if you send it to me expect me to have it for a month or two.
  • If I kill your barrel you don't have to pay. I'm not going to buy you another one or give you any compensation in return.
  • I don't suggest freak boring on barrels that are already small bore. I don't suggest using an insert bigger than .004 smaller than the original barrel. For example, if you send me a .693 to bore I don't suggest using a freak insert bigger than .689.
  • If I'm too busy to do your barrel I might tell you no. Don't take it personally, this is a sub-hobby for me not a business.
  • The simplest way to get a freak bored barrel is to buy one I've already done. Check with me to see what I currently have in stock.

Nice of you to do this Bryce. Your barrels have worked awesome for me thus far.

I think so - post a picture with a ruler or something else that I can check scale on.

Would you be able to bore the back from an FEP 007 barrel?

Might be worth using if I can get that done... .696 is a little large for my tastes

Wait. I lied. Sorry.

I'm a very visual learner... or just plain dumb. Because I still don't know what to do.

see the one above with my multi-tool? like that. I need to see that the gun end of the barrel is wide and long enough to bore.

Don't want to clutter your thread with the pic, so here's the link.

Indeed it does, and yes, I can.

Unfortunately, it's a little too big for my little ruler, and I can't find a different one at this point. Let me know if you need anything else.
