Dye i4 differences

Hey all, I'm a returning player and I'm really interested in buying some i4s. I've worn a friend of mines pair and they fit just fine, which seemed to be the biggest issue, but one question I can't seem to find an answer to is this:

Are there any differences besides color between the separate years?

I think that the newer i4 comes with a chinstrap.

No I'm pretty sure they all come with a removable chinstrap. The only difference would be the color. Some of the first versions came with HD lenses though.

The 09 I4 didnt have these grooves cut into the lense causing chipping near the end of the i4's I have the white and gold I4's and my friend have the 2012 grey tigger nd the soft ears, and lense are the only things different.The soft ears on the 09 are more like foam but the 2012 they have a compressed cloth ear
