SS Paintball

I have never played at this field. Just found the website. Greene, Iowa is North and slightly West of Waterloo, or directly North of Parkersburg on hwy 14.

Field fee looks cheap and field paint is reasonable. I plan to be there.

Anyone else?

Didn't happen. Mom had a stroke that weekend. She's recovering, though!

I went. Normally its byop or u can buy paint there but for the scenario it was different.



the scenario sucked. there werent alot of players so we played like we do everyother weekend. just small games not one constant game. good field and normal play sucky scenario game

Last years scenario was very lacking which was suprising since the year the tornado hit Parkersburg and all the flooding in that area there were 80 players in 2008 from what the field owner said. This year I hope it has a better turnout, I usually play there about every weekend and the prices are awesome. Another great thing about this field is that its BYOP, besides the scenario, which might change this year. Also you can run any firing mode you want to, there is no ROF cap as long as your not overshooting a player the owner is fine with it.

A few guys from our team are looking at going down to their scenario this year. I can't afford OK DDay this year, but I still want to take a little road trip and this seems like a good price and only 4 1/2 hours away.

Anyone know what the dates are for the scenario this year? Their website still has the 2009 dates.

I plan on going to Greene on the opening weekend April 4th and I will find out some info on the scenario this year.

I sent the owner an email and it sounded like as of right now they aren't having a scenario this year.

Hmm, that sucks. Maybe I can convince him to have a scenario this yr. I'll post up info if he does or doesn't. Maybe if anybody can put together solid numbers and he gets enough people to do a pre-reg he might do it.

Well I'd probaby have 2 at the least and 4 or 5 at the most. I also know a team from MN was planning on going down there with 3-7 guys for it. It's really hard to figure out a solid number, partially because we don't know what the date would be.

I hear ya, I'll try and get some dates and give him some possible numbers. Hopefully he will decide to do one. When I get any info I will post it. But as for the dates usually its the last weekend in June, well that's what it was the last two years, so I'm sure that's what they would be.
