Which is better? Why? And what are other gear bags that are really good. I am looking for capacity, ease of use, protection, and safety.

The classic is better since it holds more, but IMO a gearbag is one of the last things any player should buy. A cheap rolling duffel bag works fine. Wrap your gear in towels if youre concerned about damage to them and then use the towels to wipe down yourself and your gear between games.
