so I recently purchased a used phantom, and while I'm anxiously waiting for it to get here, i decided i wanted to buy a cci/wevo UC kit but make my own handle because i dont particularly like how the cci handle looks. so i have a few questions:

  • i went on mcmaster to look at delrin, but i have no idea which type to get! help? mcmaster <<<<< link
  • i need to know what tools ill need and what size taps ill need for pump threading etc
  • What should the diameter of the delrin be?

Any ideas suggestions and help would be greatly appreciated!

the pump rod is 10/32 UNF, normal delrin will work fine, and whatever size delrin you want. delrin is also known as acetal, delrin is a tradename.

The ultimate truth in paintball is that the interaction between the gun and the player is far and away the largest factor in accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

I found the delrin on mc master, I just didn't know if it made much of a difference whether I chose super wear resistant delrin, normal delrin, glass filled delrin, etc. Thank you for the information cocker punk!
