Porto rail on speedball field?

So my friend is coming into paintball and he is almost 100 percent sure he will go with rail as his first gun and he wants to know will rail get him going on speedball field and will he be competitive with it? We use millennium mod on the field.

I have been using my 2011 rail at my local air ball field with no problems keeping up with the high end guns. granted it is an air hog (but that is what the nearby fill station is for). I have had many people actually compliment my rail because it is so much quieter than everyone elses gun.

millennium is only good if you are playing their tourneys use psp 3 shot

Of which the Rail has PSP mode too.
The topic was "Can the rail keep up with higher end guns?"
I have no problems at all keeping up he should be fine.

if your field is psp, make sure you have psp turned on. millennium is slower than psp

this. My little brother has a rail and it does keep up pretty good. just make shure you have at least a 68/4500. they are not the most efficient guns.

Millennium is such a cool mode... I'm jelly. Anyways, the rails aren't too bad for the price, the UL frame is rockin, as is the eye pipe. Only things to really dislike are the asa, and the feedneck collar. Both of which are made of plastic, and im not a fan of putting much pressure on things like that. High pressure air tanks+ plastic non on/off asa= me scared.
