2 weeks ago I was playing at my local field, when this giant buff ex army guys corners this other little rental kid and says " surrender! ". Well this person didnt, and instead shoots back, then this buff guy picks this kid up by his neck and throws him on the ground. Then i found out this kid is actually a girl. And the guy didnt even get kicked out, the refs just talked to him. Crazy right?

That guy has some issues, but I usually dont surrender since rentals will probably just shoot you. He should have definitely been kicked out if not banned.

Surrenders are optional as far as acceptance goes, otherwise once the ref blows the whistle everyone would just shout surrender and everyone would be out. But, throwing people off the floor is no good, instead, throw your gun.

the fuck dude, i don't care if he is on my team or not, you place your hands on anyone ESPECIALLY a girl and i will be lighting you up, even if i only have my pistols or pump, literally every single ball i have on me is coming your way.

and before someone goes oh you're just an internet tough guy, i have literally done this before a few times, i typically shoot for their mask to obscure their vision so they are forced to stop and leave the field. it is a sad moment when it happens but under no circumstances are you to put your hands on another player, unless you are assisting someone in trouble etc.

Oh wow! what the hell, how do you just pick up a little girl like that and drop her? smh honestly that dude has issues, maybe other hidden ones as well since he's ex military. Honestly I would have talked to the girl and if the parent was there too and see if they wanted to contact authorities. Maybe some wouldn't take it that far but as far as I'm concerned, that's assault!

Also I would of banned him afterwards too. That's just something you just don't EVER do! Especially when it's a kid let alone a girl

I honestly wouldn't have done anything, and I'm sure most of the people claiming that they would hurt someone that was x military I find to be a load of crap. Although it was the wrong thing to do, hurting him isn't an option not only because he would probably kill you, but also because you never know what could've possessed him to do that! So the right thing to do IMO is to just call the manager and ask him to explain himself. I was in Cadets, and knew ALOT of people in the army you wouldn't believe the shit they see that relates so well to this situation. Overall I feel bad for the girl, and the guy needs to play an owner only field.

I am 15 and always seem to get yelled at by old guys, no offense they usually are. when they threaten to punch me I say go ahead and walk closer, only once someone tried to hit me back and he was kicked out to never return.... or I could just yell rape =) all seriousness I just try to get a ref near to hear the situation

Well I had one. Back when I was a beginner. There were these 2 kids who were the definition of punk-ass wannabe HKarmy kids with expensive guns and annoying voices and lame jokes. Well I hated them so much, because of their Egos'(yes they had both types), so I targeted them every game, and purposefully got on the other team just to spite them. This was back in the beginner group, so surrendering is a law in there. I snuck up on them on the snake when they were the last people left, and instead of being a dick and lighting them up, I screamed surrender multiple times, with the ref around 5 feet away watching. What did they do?
"Hey he didn't shoot us!" *popopopopopopopopopopopopopop*
"What the hell! I said surrender!"
"Still didn't shoot us." *popopopopopopopopopop*
Ref: "Alright game over, you're still in, but they're out."

I would unload whatever paint I had on me directly towards them in the next game even if the ame situation were to happen

I was at an event on the weekend, I ended up behind the other team in a building taking them out like crazy. I see a guy charging the building from my flank so I rotate to a door to deal with him, he trips and falls about 10 feet short and he's out there rolling around trying to sort out his remote line while yelling at me to surrender.

The field should definitely have kicked him off. The girls parents and anyone there should have threatened, and if necessary, called the cops if they wouldn't.

Why?

This is a GAME. We have a responsibility to keep it safe and try to make it an enjoyable experience.

It may have been discourteous for the girl to shoot him, but then again she is a newbie - she doesn't know paintball etiquette. Either talk to them after the game about it, have your finger on the trigger just in case, or remember that this is a game and sometimes it isn't worth shooting a newbie from ten feet away.

(I have done all of these usually people appreciate you not ruining their day and will leave the game in the future. This does depend on who your playing with you have to be smart and try to understand if your playing with a jerk or someone simply ignorant. If not you can try to sound serious and/or tell them to go out now or their getting a mouthful of paint, sometimes works. I once had someone try to turn around on me, not sure if was going to shoot, with their gun turning with them. Well as soon as I saw that I just reacted an shot them, felt sorry, but reaction are reactions. At the very least he'll remember what not to do in the future, operant conditioning)
