Have any of you had those moments where you just feel like a total douchebag for doing something afterwards on the field? I hate the feeling so much, I'll start:

So My 2 friends and I were at the airball field and this kid comes up. He was no younger than 12 or 13. He looked pretty new to the sport too. He and his father were the only 2 of their "pack", but the father didn't play, Anyway, he's walking with the ref and the ref says "Are you guys going to start a game?" and we said yes. So we set up a 2v2. Then the game starts. It's very vague but one of my friends gets out a little longer than 30 seconds of the game. Now it's my friend and I against the kid I was talking about. So I thought to myself "I'll bunker this guy and end the game". So I do. Now, I'm not the best at bunkering people. I hit him, but I got him twice. One in the leg (or some body part) and the neck. That's where I felt bad. I mean c'mon, 5-6 feet away to the neck? I was playing with TECHDP=) and he said if I'm ever going to bunker someone is to shoot the pod pack. Believe me, I tried. I tried to hit his pod pack, but running and gunning isn't very easy. I asked him if he was alright and he said "Oh yeah, I'm good", but it's like he's trying to hide it to not be embarrassed.

TL;DR
I bunkered a kid and got him in the neck and leg or arm.

ANYWAY! Have you felt like the asshole on the field? Share the memoreez.

First

It was the First game with my Axe. I was sitting in D2 and I was firing at a guy at back center. I was blind firing the last 2 seconds, and I got him..... 8 times. I felt like A douche because I always hate it when I see other people blind firing, and here I am being a hypocrite. Another time, I was sitting at the 50 and I was shooting at a guy at the end of the snake and I hit his fried who was walking behind him 4 times in his right thigh. He flinched HARD and I apologized afterwards.

Yeah I accidentally lit up this lady (like 20-30 balls) all hit her and that day she came in with brownies for the staff (I am part of the staff but was playing that day). So I said sorry at the end of the game and she said it was alright, even though it obviously wasnt

Oh man! That really sucks, I guess for him more though, lol. That's why we don't blindfire! :)

Chucked my pod and hit a little kid in the head by accident.

Shooting a team mate in the back of the head point blank.

Accidentally overshooting.

I actually overshot my friend today. Another 2v2 game. I was in the snake (The snake was smaller than SHIT!) and he was in back left. I was pointing me gun towards him. He got up, turned around and walked away. Then I shot 2 shots in his upper back. It's my instinct to shoot when you're marker is not up. He turned around and shot my bunker, nearly hitting me. I was like, "I'M SORRY!", but he just got off the field anyway.

A lot of douchyness for a day to me. :(

I was almost out of paint in the end of the game in woodsball and this guy offered my paint. Even though it was only half a pod I felt guilty for accepting....

He offered you paint and you felt guilty? I think it would have been better to accept it out of respect.

Two shots is nothing, your friend is the douche for shooting back. He should have had his gun or hand up, and anyways if he was in a back corner he could have just backed up to the sideline.

Played a regen center flag game on the hyberball field last weekend. The rule was you get shot you run back and tag home and you're back in. At the game on me and another guy pushed up snake side all the way to s-2 and s-3. I watched as this rental player tagged in from home and hunkered up with his right side completely exposed to me. I decided "Ok i'll just one ball him and get it over with." Only problem was the shitty paint was flying everywhere, and because i was playing with gloves on i ended up monkeying with my trigger to much which lead to a lot of bounce. So instead of one ball heading for his pack instead three of them traveled the thirty feet and hit him on the side of the neck, side of the head, and adam's apple. He went down screaming and I instantly had that "oh shit" feeling in my gut. I called myself out and ran over to the kid, who had three nasty welts on his neck. I walked him off the field and back to his parents where I explained what happened and how incredibly sorry I was (I definitely did not intend to hit him in the neck.) Luckily he was fine and the parents were thankful that I brought him over and apologized so I guess you could say I got off easy

There were these two kids (definitely under 10 y/o) playing in a game of all rentals (at the the time I was a beginner too). There was no snake, instead there were low "Vs" at either end of the field. Anyways, they are the last two in, against 6 of us, and they are turtling up in the point of the V. So while everyone else is just blasting away at them trying to shoot the top of their heads, I decide "oh I'll run down and get them in the back, will probly hurt less." So when I go and shoot them from behind, one kid takes it like "whatever." But, his friend just sits there and starts balling his eyes out, but i only hit him twice in the back from about 30 ft away. I felt like a jerk though. :/ But, after he gets up, I recognize that i had shot him earlier in the game in the mask, so i didnt fell quite as bad :P
